Syrian Soccer Association and Clubs Alter Emblems to New Flag Colors

DECEMBER 8, 2024 — The Syrian Football Association and several clubs have changed their emblems, reflecting the colors of the rebel flag following the rebels’ announcement of the Assad regime’s fall, Fakty ta Komentari reports.

The Syrian Football Association’s logo on social media now features significant modifications. The eagle at the center is placed against a green background instead of red, the eagle itself has been recolored to green, and an additional star has been added to the existing two stars.

These changes align with the green, white, and black symbolism associated with the Syrian opposition flag.

Among the clubs that altered their emblems are Al-Jaysh of Damascus and Al-Wahda.
