APRIL 17, 2025 — Residents of Los Juríes in Argentina are being invited to take part in designing the city’s official flag, following a resolution passed by the local council, reports the Nuevo Diario.
The initiative, driven by the Municipality and approved by the Concejo Deliberante (City Council) of Los Juríes in the General Taboada department, establishes a public contest aimed at creating a new civic symbol.
The call is open to all individuals aged 11 and older who reside in the city. Proposals will be accepted from April 14 through June 30.
According to the ordinance, the winning design will be formally submitted as a proposed ordinance to the City Council. Upon approval, it will become the city’s official flag.
The municipal executive will award the contest winner, while all participants will receive honorable mentions in recognition of their contributions.
