APRIL 24, 2025 — The Borough of Kenilworth, New Jersey, has launched a public initiative to design its first official municipal flag today, according to a public statement.
The “Borough of Kenilworth Municipal Flag Initiative” is inviting residents to contribute their own concepts and ideas ahead of a planned unveiling on Flag Day, June 14.
Submissions are open until June 2, and should be emailed to the Borough Clerk.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to help shape a flag that will represent Kenilworth for generations to come,” the Borough announced in a statement.
Officials emphasized the desire for a design that captures the community’s heritage and spirit.
All submitted designs will be reviewed, with standout entries helping to shape the final version of the flag.
