JUNE 4, 2025 — A new flag designed to represent Argentina’s rural sector was officially introduced at Agroactiva 2025, the country’s largest agro-industrial exhibition, says the Aire de Santa Fe.
Installed at the main entrance of the event grounds, the flag aims to serve as a visual emblem of the agricultural community’s identity, history, and productive strength.
“This year we’re not just raising the flag symbolically, as we’ve always done, but physically as well,” said Rosana Nardi, general director of Agroactiva.
“If there’s one place where the countryside is shown with pride, it’s here at Agroactiva. We believed the sector deserved its own flag.”
The design incorporates elements meant to evoke Argentina’s rural landscape.
“It carries the colors of our surroundings: green for the fields, light blue for the sky, and in the center a crest symbolizing work, production, rootedness, and the values of the Argentine countryside,” Nardi explained.
The flag is intended to become a lasting emblem of collective identity across the agricultural sector. Organizers noted that the gesture is a step toward strengthening the cultural visibility and unity of those who work in agriculture.
