JULY 12, 2025 — The commune of Jubileo, located in the Entre Ríos province of Argentina, has announced a public contest inviting residents to design the town’s first official flag.

“This is the first step toward having our own symbol, one that represents us as a community and reflects who we are,” stated communal authorities.

Participation in the contest is open to individuals who were born in Jubileo or have resided in the town for at least five consecutive years.

Contestants are asked to create an original and previously unpublished design. The use of typography, official shields, or inscriptions within the flag design is prohibited.

A jury composed of local cultural and educational representatives, community leaders, and knowledgeable citizens will evaluate the entries based on creativity, originality, historical significance, and visual impact.

The jury will select up to three finalists, with the winner receiving a cash prize of $500,000 pesos, a diploma of recognition, and a public mention.

The winning design will be formally adopted as the Official Flag of Jubileo and will be raised for the first time at a public ceremony. All participants will receive a certificate of participation.
