OCTOBER 1, 2025 — The city of Coria in the province of Cáceres, Spain has opened the public information period for the adoption of its official city flag, reports El Periódico Extremadura, giving residents and interested parties the opportunity to examine the proposal and submit any claims or objections.
According to the Cáceres Provincial Official Gazette, which published the notice on September 30, the process was approved earlier this month during a regular session of the municipal council held on September 17.
From that date, a 20-day window has been established for public review and potential challenges to the proposal.
The proposed design for Coria’s flag was recently unveiled by the city council. It features traditional heraldic elements, including a crowned lion and castles, reflecting the city’s history and identity.
